Court reservations for Palm Ridge Recreation Center (Liberty Courts) and the Johnson Recreation Center (Sands Courts) require a Reservation Account (see below). Court reservations for Kuentz are described below.
Johnson
The Sands courts are located at the intersection of RH Johnson and Meeker Blvds in Sun City West.
Kuentz
The Kuentz courts are located at the intersection of RH Johnson and Stardust Blvds in Sun City West.
About court reservations
Courts at the Palm Ridge Recreation Center (Liberty Courts) and at the Johnson Recreation Center (Sands Courts) may be reserved, depending on availability. Reservations for the Kuentz courts require that you call the Kuentz Recreation Center (see below for phone and hours).
Guidelines for Court Reservations
- Court reservations are available to all SCW rec members.
- You need to create a separate account with the reservations system before you can reserve a court.
- Any court that does not show a club activity may be reserved.
- Reservations are for Liberty and Sands.
- Each resident may reserve a maximum of one court for one hour per day.
- Reservations can be made 7 days in advance, starting at 9pm. Therefore, to reserve a court one week in advance on Monday, you may make the reservation 7 days and 3 hours in advance, on Monday at 9:00 pm.
Reserving Courts at Kuentz
Reservations for the Kuentz pickleball and tennis courts are handled by the Kuentz Rec Center. If you would like to reserve one of the Kuentz courts, please call the Kuentz rec center directly at 623-544-6561. When you arrive to play at Kuentz either swipe in with the Rec Center or sign in on the pickleball sheet at the court. Courts are numbered 1,2 and 3 with #1 being the first as you enter the court area. Since there are two pickleball courts on one tennis court the pickleball courts are called 1a,1b,2a,2b,3a,3b with the “a” court being the first one inside the gate.

Wednesday: 10AM-Close
Thursday: 6AM-Close
Friday: 10AM-Close
Saturday: 6AM-Close
Court Reservation Accounts for Liberty and Sands
Create a Court Reservation Account:
- On the Court Reservation Page, click on “Sign In or Register” link at the top left of the page.
- Fill in the “New Registration” section.
- Click on “Register.”
- Your password will be sent to the email address you entered. Check your email for the password. There are tips on the page if you don’t see the email. When you receive the email enter your email address, and password in the “Sign In” form at the top of the page.
Change your email, password, or phone:
- On the Court Reservation Page, sign into the reservation system.
- Click on “Change Profile.”
- Edit the items you wish to change.
- Click on “Change Log-in Info.”
Reserving a Court:
- Click on the day you would like to reserve a court, in the day menu bar.
- Times available will be shown on the calendar.
- Click on the time of the court you would like to reserve.
- Select 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, or 2 hours.
- Click submit.
- Your registered name will now appear on the calendar on the day and court you selected.
- If you need to cancel or change the reservation, click on your name and then click DELETE this reservation.
If You Forget Or Lose Your Password:
- Enter your email address, leaving the password box blank.
- Click on “sign in”.
- You will be given an option to have your password emailed to the email address you provided when you registered.
